Jocelyn Blumberg

Jocelyn is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist who trained in South Africa, qualifying in 2000. She has worked mainly in the field of adult mental health and has specialised in working with people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD further to human rights abuses. She has worked in a range of settings including South Africa and Turkey with trauma survivors.
Jocelyn has extensive experience working in the NHS. From 2005-2021, she worked at the Traumatic Stress Clinic at North London Foundation Trust, a specialist service for the assessment and treatment of Complex PTSD. In 2021, she took a role as Deputy Lead at Keeping Well NCL, an NHS and Social Care staff wellbeing service formed in response to the Covid pandemic. Her role included consultation and training aimed at embedding models of trauma-informed organisational practice across the North Central London care system.
In 2023, Jocelyn left the NHS to focus on trauma-informed consultancy and training, as well as on her independent clinical practice, however, she continues to provide trauma-informed practice skills training to staff across North London Foundation Trust on a freelance basis. .
Jocelyn founded Blue Room to bring together like-minded and experienced professionals to collaborate on providing expert and compasionate care to the individuals and teams we support, and to deliver effective training and supervision to organisations and other professionals.
